gingivitis
A mild form of oral gum disease is called gingivitis. Gingivitis causes red, swollen or puffy gums that can bleed easily when you brush or floss. Good oral hygiene and a visit to the dentist is recommended to avoid further pain, severe gum disease, and possible tooth loss.
