Spring Into a Healthy Mouth!

It’s hard to believe that it’s happening already, but the Sacramento Valley is warming up to spring. Besides the balmy temperatures, your allergies might be blooming along with the almond trees. With the change in seasons, many also have spring cleaning on their list. How about a spring cleaning for your mouth?

If you haven’t already done so, make an appointment with our Yuba City dentist for an exam and cleaning to refresh your mouth! What else can you do to renew your mouth and keep it healthy? Here are some tips from the Yuba City Dentistry Group:

Check Expiration Dates On Your Mouthwash

Expired mouthwash loses it’s effectiveness and also doesn’t have the same taste. Replace it if it’s expired and buy a new bottle that contains fluoride for extra protection against cavities.

Replace Your Toothbrush

If you haven’t done so, now is the perfect time to replace your toothbrush. The flu has hit many hard this year, and you prevent reinfection by using a new brush. Replacing old and worn toothbrushes also ensures your brush works at it’s best to remove plaque from teeth.

Restock Floss

Stock up on floss and use it daily! Many Yuba City dental patients also keep floss picks or dental floss in their purse, at their desk or in their cars so it’s available as soon as they need it. Daily flossing prevents gum disease, bad breath and the occasional embarrassing moment when a friend whispers to you that there’s food stuck in your teeth.

I've never even been here, but if my husband said it was really good play then it must be because we have a lot of anxiety especially me! I wish I would have went here instead of freakin Western Dental! They are absolutely horrible! Especially my dentist in particular! I need someone who is going to help me with my anxiety and someone wholl actually give me pain meds for afterwards! It's like dentists dont even give a damn anymore! At Western Dental in yuba city, this lady was pulling my teeth, I screamed in pain, the whole place heard me and all she could say is that I was confusing pressure with pain.. what the hell?! I'd like to become a dentist in pull some of her teeth and let's see if she confuses pressure and pain... I'm sorry but I think a lot of people would agree with me. I would not wish tooth pain on anyone but I sure would like her to understand how I felt!! I cried the whole day and was extremely traumatized!!!
